Torture Tuesday

Looks like Torture Tuesday is here to stay.  Even though we lost Steve as our trainer, Thomas is certainly not lacking a sadistic torture repertoire.  (Is there some kind of evil trainer school out there that the rest of the populace doesn't know about?  Seriously!  I'm beginning to wonder.)

Thomas definitely put us thru our paces with lots and lots of lunges, squats, step-ups and (brace yourselves) running.   ***Gasp***  Yes, America, I did some running today.  Not a whole lot, but I actually ran.  {I generally have a strict policy against running, but I thought I'd be nice and not whine too much for Thomas on his first day with us.  Although, we did tell him that fat girls shouldn't be made to run or jump - too much jiggling.  He just laughed.}

In the midst of some truly agonizing step-ups, I happened to glance in the mirror and see Steve sitting outside the aerobics room cracking up at our expense.  He was really enjoying watching us gasp, pant and sweat at the hands of another skilled torture master.  Of course we had to have a chat with him after we finished.  And, obviously, it was good to see him.

So far, it looks like Thomas will be able to withstand our charms - he didn't cave in to Michelle's negotiations for less reps, and he will definitely give us a run for our money.

PS - As I'm typing this, I'm watching The Biggest Loser season finale.  So far, we've seen Heba and Ed.  (Um, Heba... you look great!  BUT, you could look better if you'd just lift "the girls" to their proper place on your chest.  There are good bras out there that can hike those babies up and keep you from sagging like an 80 year old granny. I'm just sayin'...)
