I've decided to change my logo for Mondays. Rather than "My Favorite Monday" it's now "I *heart* that Mondays".
My *heart* for this week is my all time favorite holiday movies to watch during the month of December.
1. Up first, even though it's not really a Christmas movie, is "Little Women". Mom and I watch this every Christmas together and I love that down-time spent relaxing in front of this classic.
2. "Christmas Vacation" - who doesn't enjoy watching cousin Eddie's shenanigans and Clark's infamous run down the sledding hill on the metal disc? Or, the cat chewing on the Christmas lights causing the tree to go up in smoke? This is one of my dad's favorites, too.
3. "Elf" - this was on TV last night and I couldn't help myself, I had to watch. Will Ferrell in yellow tights - hilarious. "I love smiling! Smiling's my favorite."
4. "A Christmas Story" - you gotta love the Red Rider BB gun, the dumb kid who sticks his tongue to the flag pole, and, of course, the notorious leg lamp.
5. "The Grinch" - the one starring Jim Carey, obviously. I have to like this one because there's a character named Martha-May Hoovier.

K so we had a cat that ate Christmas lights and somehow she never died. I always thought she would, a'la Christmas Vacation but no- she lived to munch another day. We ended up having to only light up our house from waist height up because of the stupid, glass munchin' kitty. Good times.
I'm so with you on Christmas Vacation. = SO ROCKS!! Classic favorite!
