I *heart* Christmas music.
Christmas Eve (David Lanz) :: Love, love, love the music on this CD. David Lanz is a-ma-zing! There are new renditions of old favorites as well as original works on this CD. I put this one on when all is quiet and the snow is gently falling. So soothing and soft.
Osmond Family Christmas (the Osmonds) :: This one is cute and sugary sweet. Recorded back when they were wee liddle kidlins - Donny's voice hasn't changed yet. This one is good for when you want to feel like a kid at Christmas.
Elvis' Christmas Album (Elvis Presley) :: The King rules! No one sings Blue Christmas like Elvis. Ok, maybe my friend Stephanie, but only because she's THE biggest Elvis fan I know. She rocks the back-up singer's part like nobody's business.
When My Heart Finds Christmas (Harry Connick, Jr.) :: (It Must Have Been Ol') Santa Claus, and Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow! are two of my favs from this CD.
Christmas Portrait (the Carpenters) :: I *heart* this one because it's one my parent's had when I was growing up. It just ain't Christmas without the Carpenters. That Karen Carpenter knew how to rock the mic - and anorexia. (I'm just sayin'...)
Christmas with the Rat Pack (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, & Sammy Davis, Jr.) :: I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm, & Baby, It's Cold Outside as sung by the late, great Dean Martin. I also have to say that I dig the ever-so groovy A Marshmallow World by old Blue-Eyes himself - Frank Sinatra with Dean Martin singing along.
Dig That Crazy Christmas (The Brian Setzer Orchestra) :: Jingle Bell Rock, Dig That Crazy Santa Claus, and Gettin' in the Mood for Christmas all help me get into the Christmas Spirit.
The Christmas Collection (Il Divo) :: Namely O Holy Night! W-O-W!!!
What's your favorite Christmas CD?

john denver and the muppets.
christmas is not complete without it.
I LOVE Harry Connick Jr. and David Lanz! Oh and of course the carpenters. Very cool list.
My favorite is Sarah McLachlan. Also love The Bare Naked Ladies!
Hey Mart-thanks for the props for my mad backup singer skills on "Blue Christmas". Nobody else appreciates that! Oh-you forgot the 'Nsync Christmas cd. I'm HOPING you forgot and not just dissing them.
Bing Crosby christmas songs are the best. Followed up real closely with Elvis' Blue Christmas and White Christmas by the Drifters. But its never Christmas until you hear Feliz Navidad (or as Jeff would say-The police have your dad.)
Love ya
What?!? Laura? Is that really you? You ACTUALLY commented on my blog?? W-O-W! .................
Oh, sorry, I just fainted and had to pick myself up off the floor.
Look everyone! It's Laura!
You had to know that I could only resist for so long. Okay, it's been a minute, but who's counting?
