I am thankful that I don't ski (snow or water).
I am thankful that I am not the CEO of AIG.
I am thankful that I am not getting a bonus that will be taxed at 90%.
I am thankful that my name is not on the list of people who received bail-out money bonuses, thus preventing me from receiving hate mail/death threats.
I'm thankful that I'm not one of Obama's "sheep" who felt the need to sleep outside trying to get tickets to see him on the Tonight Show. (Too close to camping, and we know how I feel about camping.)
I'm thankful that I don't have a pack of paparazzi storming me and 2 of my litter of 8 while we try to make it into our garage.
I am thankful that I do not have a face full of tattoos. (Seriously! Saw a guy at the gym today that had stripes all over his face. Totally hideous!)
I am thankful that my bff is feeling better.
I am thankful for co-workers who are geniuses and are willing to share their brilliancy in order to help me out with issues.
I am thankful for winning fun blog giveaway prizes.

I am so thankful for talents!!! So when cute granddaughter Jessica called for help to put together her quilt block design; it was a contest at school, for a reading quilt, every one entered, and she won for her class!!! We spent a few hours after school, where she chose fabrics, buttons, and thread, and we cut ironed sewed, and painted, until she loved it!!! I am so thankful for such a gracious grand daughter!!

...depending on the style of your purse you might be able to fix & reinvent it by tying a cute scarf in place of the broken strap....I've done it...very fashionable too!
I'm thankful that of all the times I have been skiing (and fallen) that I've been OK...I'm kind-a freaked out now to hit the slopes.
I'm thankful it's the weekend...I love it when Sean is home....(and that I don't have to drive him to the train at 6am in the morning!)
You forgot to say: I am thankful for the Special Olympics and I would in no way demean that organization in any way. :)
