Aaaaahhhh... The fresh scent of PineSol.

All the lovely new paint in my apartment got me fired up to start my Spring cleaning early, so that is exactly how I spent most of my weekend.  Time to get rid of all the dust and dirt that has piled up on all of my decor and everything else that stands still.

After hitting the gym yesterday morning I got started on my bedroom.  It was much worse than I thought.  I think that the dirt may have been at least a half inch thick in my window sill due to the fact that I leave my window cracked all year long.  Good thing I was able to get it all squeaky clean and the curtains washed.

I didn't get very far before I had to stop and get ready to go to lunch with my long time friend Tiffany.  We went out for Indian food.  I love Indian food and have been craving it.  Tikka Masala anyone?  Yum!

After lunch, we decided to head out to Ikea just for something to do.  I wasn't planning on buying anything, so how did I manage to spend nearly $60?  Pretty sure I didn't need any of it, but I did get some items to decorate the new cubicle with, and some organization items - boxes for my rarely used CD collection.  All in all, a good little shopping venture.

When I got home, I decided to hang a few more things back up in the living/dining area.  Then, it was off to dinner with Michelle.  After dinner, we walked around The Quilted Bear - I mostly go there for the entertainment value, which consists of making fun of all the cheesy sayings and crafts that look like a 5 year old made them.  Seriously!

Overheard at The Quilted Bear - "I wish my mouth had a backspace."  Now why doesn't someone turn that into a plaque?

After all of that it's really no surprise that I'm still not done cleaning my bedroom, so it looks like I'll have to finish it before Bunco tomorrow night.  Any volunteers?

I was SOOOOO excited when we got an Ikea, and I haven't been in like 7 months! What's up with that?

Ha! That's a great saying. I kind of wish I had a backspace too. And maybe a rewind and fast forward button.

LOVE spring cleaning. And I USED to love the scent of Pine-Sol. Really, it was the epitome of clean. Then the baby shower this weekend ruined it. Deets on monday
