For the directionally challenged

If you ever find yourself driving from western Idaho down to Utah, here are some helpful signs so you don't get lost.  You see, the road splits just outside of Burley and you can either go left to Pocatello, or right to Utah.

The Idaho Department of Transportation thought it might be helpful to give drivers advanced warning as to where the split occurs and placed about 4 different signs on the side and above the road.  I managed to take pics of 3 of the signs::

I hope this helps and you don't find yourselves in Pocatello.

*I know that I am too late to help both Jeff and Melissa with this little problem as they both managed to miss all of the signs and headed to Pocatello, adding a couple more hours to their drive back to civilization.

Did they have those signs up two years ago? Even if they did, I totally missed them. And wasted a LOT of time. Doh!

That is so funny! I have been stalking your blog (sorry) but I had to comment on this one. I am a native Ca. but have lived in Western Idaho for awhile now and these signs always crack me up when I go to Utah. I never got lost in California but I did manage to miss this turn off to Utah the first time -ha ha.

Love that you took pictures of the signs - so hilarious.

I love your blog - Hope you don't mind if I visit.

P.S. Glad you survived your trip to Burley! I've only seen the gas station there.
