Would someone mind telling me what is up with this look?::

And this look?::
I'm having a bit of a struggle with figuring out what is up with guys in skinny jeans. I mean, I have seen a pic or two of my dear dad wearing a pair of super tight skinny jeans, but that was back in the 60s. Shouldn't we know better now?

I believe the first look is "Emo" which basically means that they are unsure of their sexuality.
At my previous job, I worked with a kid who we thought was wearing his sister's jeans. This was before this look really took off. We talked to his probation office because we thought maybe the family was struggling financially. ANd then we looked like idiots.
I haven't seen you around much in bloggyland this week! But maybe I'm just getting to everyone before you. :)
Sean & I both H-A-T-E the look...we usually get way too much of the look watching American Idol.
funny thing...waiting to pick Sean up from the train last night a group of H.S. boys walked by...one of them tried to get on his bicycle and absolutely couldn't because his jeans were WAY TOO TIGHT....he had to bend the bike very low to be able to swing his leg over!!! I was totally cracking up! That CANNOT be comfortable?!?!?
ohhhhhhhh dont even get my started on the GIRL pants... all I have to say is FREAK!
Yeah, the good old 60s...these fashions keep coming back every generation, don't they...
I am sooooo with you.
I will never understand the skinny jeans
I dislike both looks. Bleh. I'm not sure why they think either one looks good. I honestly think that we are going to have a generation of people with hip/back problems because of how they have to walk to keep their pants from falling off.
Based on the fact that the baggy jeans started in prison as a way of advertising you were willing to be a dude's bia***, and the skinny jeans tend to represent what Travis said, the "emo" look, which is "emotional retards", cutters, etc. I HATE BOTH!!!
It's hard enough for woman and girls to look good in them but they certainly cannot be comfortable for the guys. You know!
