Thankful Thursday

Here's my weekly list:


My bed. Honestly, I love that thing. I love to curl up in it and watch TV. I love lounging on it while reading a good book. I love sleeping in it. De-light-ful! I think part of it is due to the fact that I have some absolutely divine quilts to curl up under - made by my super talented mother. Wrapping up in one is almost like a hug from mom when she can't be there.

A good book. I am a big time reader. If I don't have a book to read, I kinda feel lost. I started Jodi Picoult's latest - Handle with Care - last night and I'm already hooked. She is an amazingly talented writer. Her stories suck me in and I become totally invested in the characters and their plight.

My mom. She is honestly one of the best people I know. I had a little bit of a crying meltdown on our weekly call this past Sunday and she was so loving and understanding. I couldn't ask for a better mother/friend.


The fantastic weather. It's been cooler and rainy this week and I. Love. It. I sleep so well when it's cooler at night.


My BFF Michelle. I honestly don't know what I'd do without her. She is being so very understanding with all of my medical nonsense. When I was totally beat yesterday, she told me to take a nap and she headed off to the gym by herself.
