Skyrockets in flight

On Friday, after the letdown that was Fame, Michelle and I met our friend Jean for dinner. After assuring Jean that she didn't miss anything by not going to Fame with us, we had an enjoyable feast of Mexican food. After, since Michelle was driving, she decided to take the scenic route back to my place in order to drop me off.

This is what we saw flying at the Golden Corral:

Are you kidding me????

I couldn't resist getting a picture. Michelle, being the trooper that she is, pulled into the parking lot where I whipped out my camera to get a pic. Of course, some older gentleman happened to be walking by at that time and made some smart remark about the Golden Corral being a scenic stop.

I retorted, "Did you not read that sign? Senior. Afternoon. Delight. Come on!"

He replied, "What are you girls thinking?" As he shook his head and walked away.

How could you NOT find that sign amusing? Michelle and I laughed about it all the way back to my place while I sang the 70s hit song "Afternoon Delight".

Who's up for lunch at the Golden Corral this week? Anyone? You get some "Senior Afternoon Delight" for only $5.49 and that includes drinks. I'm sure it will be awesome. hhhmmm... I'm thinking I just might be able to find myself a sugar daddy. (Kidding!)

I think when you're a senior, the afternoon is the only time you can get some.

Hilarious.

Does it apply to high school seniors too? Not that I am one. But I don't think they should be encouraging that, if it does.
