Dating Dilemma

I have a lunch date today.

(Please pick yourself up off the floor. I know it's shocking that I would have a date, but I do.)

It's a blind date - even better. (I'm grimacing at the mere thought of it.)

One of my most favorite cousins (next to Kado, of course) is the one that set the wheels in motion on this whole date hooliroo. The guy is one of her friends and someone that she used to date when she was still single. (She thinks he's "adorable".)

I asked if he has hair - check.
Height: over 6 feet - check.
Job: he owns property - uhhhh, not so sure about this one - no check.
Sense of humor: I've chatted with him twice on the phone and the verdict's still out- no check.
I asked another cousin who knows him if he is cute: she took an awfully long pause before answering, "he's distinguished looking." What am I supposed to do with that? Really?

Needless to say, I'm trying to stay positive, but I don't really have any hopes about this. (After chatting with him on the phone, I really don't think we have anything in common.) In fact, I'm feeling downright woozy that I have to spend even an hour with him. (I'm going out of pure curiosity. I need to know what "distinguished looking" looks like to my cousin Brenda.)

So, wish me luck and that the time flies on by until I'm back all safe and sound at my desk.
