{Well, obviously not for me, but for other people of the world it does.}I went to see Love Happens Friday with Michelle and Jean. I had hope for this flick. I knew it was a chick-flick, but I still expected it to be somewhat entertaining.
Not gonna lie - I got bored with it. I found my thoughts drifting off several times during the movie. I had to keep reminding myself to focus. That right there is a bad sign.
The main character (Burke Ryan, PhD) travels the country holding seminars teaching people how to go thru the grieving process after losing a loved one. He's a hypocrite, though. His wife died and he does not practice what he preaches.
Jennifer Aniston's character (Eloise) tries to be quirky, but doesn't quite pull it off. She pretty much acts the same way that she does in all the other movies she's ever made.
I think I'm now going to have to rank Jennifer Aniston right up there along with Keaneau Reeves and Kevin Costner - 2 of the worst actors in Hollywood - on my list of all time terrible actors.
Love does not just happen and this movie did not happen to be all that good. Save your money.

This movie must be something else. I have read one blog today where the person LOVED it and said it is a don't miss and you have said don't waste your money.
So I guess it could go either way for me. ha ha
P.S. Honestly I have never really liked any of the movies Jennifer Anniston has been in so I probably should go with your advice :D
Duly noted. The Shark and I will find another film for Wednesday GNO event. Thanks for the heads up.
I was not a fan either :(
I have never been an Aniston fan. Thanks for the review! I will avoid it :)
What ???? You don't like Keaneau Reeves???? What about Point Break???? Sean was a mini-Keaneau-look-alike in 8th grade...so I'm always gonna have a little love for him!
...but Aniston usually bugs me...probably because I'm for Team-Angelina! ;)
i loved her in FRIENDS, but i have honestly hated every movie she's ever been in.
