The Adventures of Alegra :: Gepetto's

Hey, ya'll!  Alegra here.  I am so excited to report that Martha took me on my very first foray outside of work and home.  We went to hear Martha's friend Pete sing at Gepetto's.  

(I'm much more portable and less fragile than my friend Venus, which means there will be more adventures to come.  Sorry you couldn't join in on the fun, Venus.)

It's not the soft glow of electric sex that I provide, but it's close enough.  Don't worry, Martha made sure to keep my fringe away from the open flame.  Accident averted.  

While I was kicking back reveling in Pete's spectacular performance, I got introduced to our super nice waitress - Reagan.  She thought it was fabulous that I was out enjoying myself for the evening.  Me, too!  (She wanted to know where Martha got me.  I like to think of myself as one-of-a-kind, but Martha let her know anyway.  Let's just say I'm not very happy about that.)

I desperately wanted to get in on Pete's performance, but Martha thought it might be kind of rude to bust in on his parade.  She finally relented.

The highlight of my evening?  Getting to join Pete in a duet.  (He's so dreamy.  I'm totally crushing on him...)  The song?  "Stand By Me." Totally fitting, don't ya think?

I totally rocked it (thanks to Pete) and got a huge round of applause when we finished.

The world is a big, big place and I can't wait for my next great adventure.  See you soon.
