Welcome to the new digs (aka The Cube Farm)

Today was the first day at the new/different office.  My commute time got cut in half with the move, which utterly thrills me.  It gives me less time to blurt out expletives at other drivers and their asinine driving skills, which in turn means less time repenting for said expletives and smack talk about other people.

I miraculously managed to find my way to the correct floor and the assigned section for my team.  Thank goodness for overhearing 2 of my teammates talking.  If not for that, I'd probably have been wandering aimlessly for at least an hour.  I mean, just take a look at this::

The Evil Genius walked down to the opposite end of the building just to peek up over the cubicle walls at me.  She was so far away.  I missed her.

It didn't take Melissa long to set up shop and feel right at home.  We still share a wall, so I can chuck things over it at her to get her attention every now and then.  (While unpacking her boxes, she came across a few items that weren't hers, but were marked as her belongings.  She totally blamed me for it, even though I had nothing to do with it.  Thanks a lot, Lynn! whomever had the nerve to do that.)

Cube sweet cube.  (Sounds like something that should be cross-stitched onto a pillow.  Gag!) I totally need to jazz up my sad little home-away-from-home a bit with some personal items. Any suggestions?  It's looking kind of boring.

I think you need a life size poster of Shia LeBeouf that we can all come and just look at every once in a while. That would liven up your cube

Pictures of Alegra or of the bloggers lunch?
That really is a cube farm. Wow. I would need a flag by my cube so I could find my way back after taking a break to use the loo.

Oh...cube village is lovely ;)

Even still, let's thank you know who that you have a J O B.

And to spice things up, here is a great idea (http://ikeahacker.blogspot.com/2009/01/my-ikea-hack.html) if you want your cube neighbors to think you are CA-razy!

I *heart* Ikea Hack

That looks like a very sad and depressing sea of grey work environment...luckily you guys have such a sense of humor or I can see the plot of "Office Space" unfolding...definitely need A Lot of "Flare" to dress those walls up! LoL!

Your humor is sure to brighten the place up but if you would just set Alegra up, you wouldn't need anything else!

Wow, that is quite the sea of cubes. Glad you weren't lost. Maybe you should get one of those fake window thingys that make you think you have a view. I'm sure they work.

I think you should go with Sponge Bob Sqare Pants as your Cubie theme

I must say that I am a little sad to see that neither you or Melissa have a framed picture of me on your desk.

Off to cry now.
