Suggestion cookies

I didn't feel like eating the lunch I brought to work with me today, so I convinced the Evil Genius to join me in some take-out Chinese food from our building's "charming" little (and I do mean little) food court.

I've written about the "fortunes" in the cookies from this place on my blog before.  And, I've now come to the conclusion that the Peking Noodle Co. (the manufacturer of "fortune" cookies that this particular Chinese take-out place uses) really makes suggestion cookies.

Here's the suggestion from my cookie today::

Be patient - think, listen and heed signs for personal gain.

And the suggestion from the Evil Genius' cookie::

Work on improving your exercise routine.

I looked up the Peking Noodle Co. on the internet and this is a direct quote from their website about their fortune cookies::

"Our fortune cookies bring a happy and humorous ending to a meal."

Oh, yes, Peking Noodle Co, your writers certainly know how to come up with some hilarious "fortunes".

What can I say?  They've definitely kept me entertained.

I don't like fortune cookies. They taste like cardboard.
