I am thankful that I don't have to watch Nascar - EVER. (The reason I bring this up - some of the announcers for Nascar were on the news this morning plugging the Daytona 500. I absolutely know that I would be bored out of my ever lovin' mind if I had to watch those nitwits drive around and around and around for hours and hours and hours.)
I am thankful that I am too old to be a contestant on American Idol. The fame and fortune would just wear me out and all the other contestants would hate me because of my mad singing skillz. (You're welcome, America!)
I am thankful that I am not a contestant on The Biggest Loser. (And may I never be big enough to qualify.)
I am thankful that I don't have a 19 year old singer boyfriend who thinks it's ok to beat the crap out of me in public (or private for that matter). [For those of you who live under a rock, this is in reference to Chris Brown (R&B singer) beating down Rihanna (another R&B singer) - his girlfriend.]
I am thankful for Thomas, who made me do 136 squats holding 30 lbs of extra weight on Tuesday. I can totally feel my quad muscles today. Thanks, Torture-Thomas! Thanks.
I'm thankful that I didn't just birth a litter of 8 babies.
What are you thankful for this week? Anything in particular?

Yes, on that last one. I may bring up crazy poor man's Angelina in tomorrow's post.
I'm thankful you didn't just birth a litter of 8 babies too.
Luuuuuuccccy, you got a lot a esplainin to do!
I need a Thomas in my life.
I used to think people who liked NASCAR were crazy too...then while living in Vegas we started going to the races and I have to admit I fell in l♥ve with NASCAR & the whole atmosphere. Could have been that we were in the VIP booth with access to the pit...I understand now it's a lot more then just driving in circles! There really is a thought out process...tire air pressure, when to re-fuel, even when to take off a layer of windshield protector. All has an outcome on who finishes first....or last. So yes, I admit I'm a NASCAR fan. (can we still be friends!?)....hey, I gotta tell you at a NASCAR race women are usually the minorities...there quite possible could be many potential "George's" attending...might have to take you to my next race!)
Oh come now, Chris Brown just loves her so much. He couldn't help himself and that lady just has so much love to give she needed 8 babies.
I have had enough racing to last me a lifetime. I am thankful that I do not have to sit melting in the sun, smelling fuel, tires and sweat. Watching a bunch of men act like they rule the world. Most of all...I am THANKFUL that I am no longer married to the LOSER EX-husband of mine. Yeah!!!!
I'm thankful you didn't just birth a litter of 8 babies either cuz I'd have to come out there and kick your bootie!
I don't think that a NASCAR race is the place to go looking for Martie's "George". I think that's one of the "deal breakers"(that the guy is into NASCAR at all).
I'm thankful that when my 2 year old threw up spontaneously, she was already in the bathtub. Some weeks, it takes so little to make me happy :-)
Best.Thankful.Thursday.List.EVER!
