It's always great to go for a visit with the fam. My mom is an amazing cook and always has yummy meals and treats for us. (She had some of her most delectible cinnamon rolls made up just for the weekend. Yum!)
Of course I enjoyed seeing the niece and nephews. Miss J is so adorable and such a girly-girl. I love it! C & C are both growing and growing and growing. I told their dad to make them stop. He wouldn't listen.
Jeff and his wife Laura came up for the festivities. He and Carrie share the same birthday, but he's just a couple of years older. He and Laura had a good time giving Carrie all sorts of Over-the-Hill paraphernelia. My fav - the glittery tiara that Carrie totally wore like the true beauty queen she is. The kids' fav - the cane complete with rearview mirror and horn.
At the big bash, my brother's assistant manager attended and there was quite the to-do over her wardrobe. Not only did she have the girls pushed up and out as far as they could go, but the shirt she was "wearing" did little to cover the attention starved twins. I thought for sure there was going to be some nippage popping out as she sat down on the couch and leaned forward. It was like a train wreck waiting to happen. You knew you shouldn't watch, but you just couldn't help it. I had to keep making sure that my shirt was in place and my girls weren't trying to escape.
On the way home, Jeff said it reminded him of that Tide to go commercial where the guy is an interview and he's got a big old stain on his shirt that mumbles whenever he is asked a question. Here's the video as proof. Just imagine a large, misshapen boob doing this:
