All Things Jersey

What's up with everything Jersey on TV these days?

Cake Boss - takes place in Jersey

Real Housewives of New Jersey

Jerseylicious

Jersey Shore
Jersey Couture
(I'm sure there are more...)

Is Jersey really that fascinating?

I decided to watch an episode of Cake Boss on Sunday.  It was ok.  The accents totally cracked me up.  And the poor grammar was unbearable.  ("Yous guys.")

I know several people who just can't seem to get enough of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.  (I'm not naming any names, but one of them ends in Cat.)  I've never even seen a single episode and probably never will.  It just doesn't interest me.

Oh, and E! has had a special on called The 25-iest Jersey Stars.  Okaaaay.

I've actually been to Jersey.  Just the icky industrial part.  I hear that the rest of the state is pretty nice, but I wouldn't know from any personal experience.  I once had a work trip planned to go to Hackensack, but it got canceled.  Can't say I was sorry.

Am I the only one who just doesn't get the fascination with New Jersey?

Yes. I do think Jersey is the greatest. Mostly because my bestie lives there.

And I loves me some Cake Boss and the Real Housewives are the best!!
