My Favorite Monday

I totally lifted this from Shark Bait's blog.  I think it's a grand idea because let's face it... Monday's suck!  

The point of "My Favorite Monday" is to tell all three of you about something that is a favorite of mine.

I have lots of favorite things that I enjoy, but I'm only going to talk about one per Monday.

My favorite for this week - watching Jeff enjoy being an obnoxious older brother.  Of course, I give him crap about it, but it totally makes me giggle and I get a kick out of it.  (I think it's kind of sweet, but don't tell him that.)

When my parents were here, my mom blabbed and told Jeff that I had a date scheduled for Saturday.  (Please pick yourself up off the floor.  I know, it's a bit of a miracle that I had a date. You can thank my dear friend Alli for it.  I still haven't given her an update and I know it's killing her.)  Of course, Jeff immediately started teasing me about it, but thankfully, he didn't keep at it for very long.

Later in the week, however, Jeff sent an e-mail wishing me luck and to have fun.  To up the obnoxious brother factor, while I was on my date, he sent me a text message.  It made me laugh and I wanted to text him back and gross him out by saying that he caught me at a bad time (making-out), but I thought it might be kind of rude to my date.  (No, we weren't really making-out.)  

I waited for this morning to send him an e-mail in which I called him a nerd (standard sibling stuff), and thanked him for the text in the middle of my date.  He replied that he's got a lot of years to make up for.

So, my new story for why I'm still single is going to be "because I had to make sure Jeff could experience harassing his little sis about guys and dating."
