Let the festivities begin...

I don't know how widely known this is, but my birthday is this Sunday, the 29th. Yesterday, I had an early birthday package from my fabulous cousin Kado and her family waiting for me when I opened my mailbox.

I cheated and opened it, even though my birthday is officially a couple of days away still.

Here's what I found when I opened the box:

Loved the fun paper and big, fat ribbon.

Next was the card, made by Kado herself and signed by the whole family:

Then some chocolate. (Who doesn't love some chocolate on their birthday?):

Then, a notepad with my initial:

And, the piece-de-resistance:

That's right. Those are Wii remote covers shaped to look like Raving Rabbids. I love the Raving Rabbids games! Me, Kado and E all played when they were out here last Spring. I guess that E found these and told his mom that I just had to have them. (Love that E!)
