I picked up and said, "Hello, Kado!"
Babbling on her end.
Me: "Kado? Hello? Are you there?"
More babbling on her end.
I figured that Nox was probably playing with her cell phone and called me accidentally. I was wrong.
Kado finally picked up and informed me that Nox just had to call me and chat. She asked if that was ok. OF COURSE it was ok with me. I think that 4 year olds are a riot to talk to.
So, he came on the line with his cute little voice and proceeded to tell me that our names (his real name, not his blog name) start with the exact same letter and this just thrilled him.
I then proceeded to let him know that I had heard he was starting to learn his letters in school and he was all kinds of excited to tell me about other things he'd been learning. His enthusiasm was so darn adorable it made me giggle.

Unfortunately, I've not had the opportunity to meet Nox - In Real Life, but I have met E on a couple of occasions and that super sweet E just thinks I'm fabulous (as I do him).
Anyway, Kado said that after she hung up the phone, little Nox asked her, "Now does she know me?" Kado said, "Yes." And his response was, "Good! You have a great cousin."
How stinkin' adorable is that??? Totally made my day. I love you, Nox!!

How utterly adorable. But don't forget, if your post is brought to us by the letter M, it also needs a number as a co-sponsor.
Those are Sesame Street's rules, not mine.
Is Kado seriously your cousin? So cool!
WTC? My name starts with M and I did.not.get.a.call.
