Shoe shopping

Overheard at Kohl's shoe department last night:

Mom:  "What size are those?"
Daughter:  "Stupid."

I could hear her eyes roll with that response.  She couldn't have been more than ten years old and her young voice dripped with sarcasm.  I'm thinking she really wasn't all that thrilled to be trying on shoes at that moment.  She obviously was NOT a girl after my own heart.  I love trying on shoes.  I love buying them even more.  Within the last 2 weeks I've managed to buy 3 pairs of shoes - one of which is a super sassy pair of dark chocolate sling back stilettos.

I love the fact that I can wear sassy shoes again.  For awhile there, they really hurt my feet and they didn't look so hot on my chunky body, either.  I've now dropped 32 lbs. and heels don't look so silly on me anymore.  30 more lbs. to go and wearing heels definitely won't be an issue.

You will have to be a mentor for my Ila. I can already tell she will be a shoe girl. She brings me shoes whenever she finds them and has me put them on her (even if they are my flip-flops).

Way to go on the 32lbs. After I have Ian I will be in that mode of losing weight for hopefully the last time. Awesome! Keep up the good work!
